A teeny bit tight around the waist ... the legs and length were good; the next size up were perfect around the waste but too big everywhere else ... I'm 5 feet and it comes right to my ankle, which looks just fine. I can wear size 25 to size 28 depend on the styles. The deal at amazon for size 27 is too good so I just gave it a try. Luckily, the fit is excellent. I'm very happy with the purchase.I already had a pair in size 29 that I purposely bought 1 size bigger. I usually wear 28. So for this one I got a 27 and it fits perfect. These are very stretchy.I love Joe's Jeans, and I don't have any other type. That said, anyone waffling can skip this pair. I've been wearing low-rise for lose to two decades, but I took a chance on these mid-rise only to find that they are very mid-rise, bordering on high. Ick! Also, the fringe on the ankles is too much.These fit very large. I own a few pairs of Joe's jeans in the same size and these were at least 2-3 sizes larger than my normal. My normal size is a 26-27 and these fit more like a 29. Order down a size
